What is the OCA?
The Oxford Capacity Analysis (OCA) is a self-report personality test that the Church of Scientology has used since the 1950s. It is offered free of charge, and the free consultation that comes with it is given by Churches of Scientology.
How the test works
According to the Church of Scientology, the OCA is structured like this:
- 200 questions. The test is made up of 200 questions and takes about an hour to complete.
- Ten traits. It is designed to measure ten personality traits — and it is the way those traits relate to one another that gives the fuller picture.
- Your graph. When you finish, your answers are plotted on a personality graph within minutes, showing your stronger points and the areas that may need attention.
- A free consultation. A complimentary, no-obligation consultation with trained staff is offered, who talk you through your graph in detail.
